EFDA Dental Assistant for Small Family Practice

We are seeking a skilled Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our independent, family-focused dental practice in Manayunk/Roxborough. As a neighborhood practice, we take pride in delivering high-quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxed environment, serving many of our neighbors as patients.  

About Our Practice  
Our team consists of the owner-dentist, an office manager, and two dental assistants. We are looking for an EFDA to help expand our practice's capacity, allowing us to provide even better care to our growing patient base.  

What We’re Looking For
An ideal candidate should:  
Be EFDA-certified and possess a radiology certificate  
Have at least 2 years of experience in a general dentistry practice  
Be proficient in all general dentistry and hygiene procedures  
Work independently to complete EFDA-appropriate procedures, allowing the dentist to see additional patients  
Assist with chairside duties, sterilization, and operatory turnover  
Experience with Dentrix and intraoral scanners is a plus but not required  

What We Offer  
Competitive Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour  
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (34 hours per week)  
- M/W/TH: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM  
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
