Dentist hourly

Responsibilities:

- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly, adhering to departmental standards and insurance requirements.

- Contribute to the development and review of hygiene protocols, audit procedures, and quality assurance measures.

- Perform preventive dental procedures, including dental prophylaxis, root planing, scaling, sealants, and oral health education.

- Understand the scope of practice and consult or refer patients to dentists, dental specialists, or medical providers as needed.

- Utilize resources efficiently and practice in a cost-effective manner.

- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited dental school.

- State of California license as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) required.

- DEA license required.

- General practice residency or equivalent clinical experience (2 years preferred).

- Current certification in American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advanced Resuscitation Training.

- Membership in the American Academy of General Dentistry preferred.

- Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred.
