We are seeking a Dentist or Dental Hygienist with strong clinical skills to join our team. While we are sad to see our long-time team member move on to the next chapter of their life, we are excited to welcome a new professional into our practice.

This position is ideal for a Dentist or Hygienist who enjoys providing hygiene-focused care. The selected candidate will receive training and become proficient in all aspects of periodontics under the guidance of an experienced Periodontist. New graduates with a strong interest in hygiene are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, self-motivated, outgoing, responsible, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

Perform dental hygiene services, including Dental Prophylaxis, Scaling and Root Planing, Periodontal Maintenance, Laser Therapy, Oral Cancer Screening, X-rays, and Sealants
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues
Accurately document findings, abnormalities, and suspected conditions
Customize care plans to meet each patient’s oral health needs and manage patient recall schedules
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program or dental school
Registered Dental Hygienist or Dentist licensed in the State of New York
Prior experience preferred; new graduates welcome
Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and clinical practices
Ability to follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment
