Dental Hygienist Position in San Antonio

Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients’ teeth and gums to identify any issues or potential concerns  
- Perform thorough teeth cleanings, removing plaque and tartar to prevent oral diseases  
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to safeguard against decay  
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, as well as offer dietary recommendations for optimal oral health  
- Keep detailed records of patient treatment plans, progress, and health history  

Requirements:
- Active Texas Dental Hygienist license and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as applicable)  
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation  
- CPR certification  
- Familiarity with updated Periodontal Guidelines  

Preferred Qualifications:  
- Open to new graduates  
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems  
- A passion for continued learning and developing clinical skills to enhance patient care and preventive treatment
