Dental Hygienist Position

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Torrey Del Mar Dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Educate patients about dental health, procedures, and their benefits.

- Provide caring support to ensure a positive and comfortable experience for all patients.

- Be a reliable team player, collaborating closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals.

- Maintain a professional image, being presentable and well-groomed.

Job Duties:

- Remove plaque and calculus through scaling and polishing teeth.

- Take impressions and/or dental radiographs.

- Apply prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides.

- Conduct screenings and monitor patient conditions.

- Treat and help prevent gum disease.

- Ensure sterile conditions are maintained at all times.

- Offer advice and encouragement to patients.

- Work under the supervision of dentists, utilizing various dental instruments.

- Stay current with developments in the field and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements:

- Experience with Dentrix.

- Laser certification.

- Proficiency in digital X-rays.

- Knowledge of Dexis.

- Strong scheduling skills.
