Dental Hygienist

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct dental cleanings, including plaque and tartar removal, teeth polishing, and fluoride applications

- Take and interpret dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized care recommendations

- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix

- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, sterile work environment

- Work collaboratively with our dental team to facilitate efficient patient care

Requirements:

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in New York

- Relevant experience as a Dental Hygienist

- Proficiency in taking x-rays

- Familiarity with dental office systems and procedures

- Knowledge of iTero is a plus

- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively

- Strong understanding of oral anatomy and dental conditions

- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate support

Position Details:

- Job Type: Part-time

- Salary: $55 - $60 per hour + Bonus

- Expected Hours: 18-24 per week

- Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts

- Location: In-person, New York, NY 10036

- No nights or weekends
