Dental Hygienist

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. With our long-time hygienist retiring, we need someone who can continue providing excellent care. The role offers the opportunity to spend a full hour with each patient and collaborate with referring dentists through Dentrix. Our skilled assistants are available to assist with perio charting and take x-rays.

Job Type: Part-time  

Pay: Starting at $60.00 per hour  

Expected Hours: 10 – 14 per week  

Schedule: 8-hour shifts; Day shifts; No weekends

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of hygiene experience preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate.

- Proficiency with Cavitron, hand instruments, and local anesthetics.

- Excellent pain management skills.

- Ability to learn and adapt from others.

- Availability for 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday preferred, but some flexibility available).

Responsibilities:

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

- Examine patients’ teeth and gums for signs of disease.

- Maintain accurate patient records and perio charts at each visit.

- Communicate with referring doctors regarding the treatments provided.

- Manage hygiene inventory.
