Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with one Saturday per month

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

About the Role:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting optimal oral health among our patients. You will conduct initial screenings, perform teeth cleanings, and offer advice on oral health and preventative care. Your responsibilities will include helping dentists determine treatments for dental issues and managing dental emergencies. A strong understanding of health and safety protocols related to oral care is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial oral health screenings and review patient history.
- Educate patients on dental care and preventive practices.
- Demonstrate proper teeth cleaning techniques to patients.
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with patients.
- Prioritize and follow up on preventive and corrective dental care.
- Take and analyze x-rays to detect dental issues.
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, such as cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
- Recommend and implement care plans to enhance patients' oral health.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in New York State (Required).
- Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
Special Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Familiarity with the latest dental technologies and treatments.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a multidisciplinary team and clients.
