Dental Salon is a privately owned non-corporate group dental practice established in 2003.

We are looking for a dental hygienist to join the team at our Chicago (Lincoln Park) location.

Naturally experience is great but we are open to talented recent graduates as well. Candidates should have strong proficiency in all aspects of dental hygiene including routine cleanings and scaling and root planing.

Senior dentists are available to provide guidance in all aspects of treatment planning, patient management and clinical procedures.

Our experienced clinical and administrative support team is an incredible group of individuals dedicated to quality patient care.

The finely appointed clinical space occupies a top floor office with panoramic views of the city providing a terrific work setting.

We are FFS and in network with most PPO insurances as well as one, single top-tier HMO plan. No medicaid/public aid.

Candidates must have a dental hygiene degree from an accredited institution as well as Illinois state licensure to practice dental hygiene in good standing.

Full time (4-5 days) is preferred but part time is an option. The flexibility to work some weekday evening hours and some Saturdays is ideal.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine dental cleanings and scaling and root planing procedures

- Educate patients on oral health care

- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation

- Interpret dental imaging results for accurate diagnosis

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

- Collaborate with the team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Requirements

- Dental hygiene degree from an accredited institution

- Valid Illinois state dental hygiene license in good standing

- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures, including routine dental cleanings and scaling and root planing procedures

- Strong knowledge of dental systems and technologies

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients and team members

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
