Dental Hygienist

James W. Brown DDS is expanding and is now seeking a dedicated Part-Time Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our thriving practice in San Antonio. Schedule:

- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

- Screening patients during check-ups

- Reviewing patient history

- Administering prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing

- Documenting areas of existing restorations

- Utilizing X-ray equipment

- Instructing patients on oral hygiene techniques

- Assisting with oral hygiene screenings

Qualifications:

- Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist certification required to start

- New graduates are welcome to apply

- Preferred: 1 year of experience as a practicing Dental Hygienist in a busy private practice setting

- Knowledge in periodontal care preferred

- Current BLS/CPR certification

- Maintenance of annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
