Key Responsibilities:

- Perform hygiene clinical procedures such as oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays.

- Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and demonstrate effective methods.

- Communicate with the doctor regarding restorative and/or periodontal needs identified in patients.

- Obtain and review patient dental history and ensure records are up-to-date for all returning patients.

Qualifications:

- Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program with a valid state license.

- X-Ray/Radiology Certification as required by state regulations.

- Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide Certification as required by state regulations.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements:

- Clinical environment with potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens.

- Requires prolonged periods of standing, leaning, and bending.

- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Starting at $48.00 per hour
