Dental Hygienist

Position: Dental Hygienist  
Location: North County San Diego, CA 92128  

Responsibilities:

Patient Management:
- Review patient health and dental history
- Update perio chart annually
- Take digital radiographs with handheld x-ray equipment
- Perform thorough and gentle prophylaxis and scaling/root planning
- Administer local anesthetic as needed
- Document patient care and treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques

Treatment Room Management and Sterilization:
- Clean treatment rooms between patients
- Maintain hygiene treatment supply inventory
- Assemble and sterilize instruments

Qualifications:
- Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of California
- Preferred: 3 years of experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) trained and certified
- Knowledge of Dentrix (willing to train if needed)
- Ability to take x-rays with digital sensors

Job Type: Part-time  
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour  
Expected Hours: 8 per week  
Schedule: 8-hour shift

License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred)
- Dental License (Preferred)

Required Location:
- Ability to commute to North County San Diego, CA 92128 (Required)
