West Alamo Dental Care is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to enhance our dedicated team. We serve a wonderful patient population alongside enthusiastic colleagues and compassionate dentists committed to providing quality care. You’ll collaborate with a hygiene team and a dedicated assistant, enjoying the flexibility to schedule your patients while delivering excellent care.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Please note that hours may change with the addition of a new doctor.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license in Texas
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience:
- 1-2 years of clinical experience
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records
- A desire to continue learning and enhancing your clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide excellent preventative care
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office Doctor with or without reasonable accommodations
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
- A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement and will be arranged during the pre-employment process (not applicable in FL & TN).
