Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates starting at $60 per hour, plus bonus commission. Candidates with significant experience may qualify for higher compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care to support long-term oral health.
Administer local anesthesia and apply sealants as needed.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Collaborate with dentists to assess oral health, identify concerns, and contribute to treatment planning.
Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions for patients undergoing dental procedures and support follow-up care.
Monitor periodontal health, complete periodontal charting, and assist in developing treatment plans for gum disease.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including procedures performed and treatment recommendations.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active state license to practice dental hygiene (RDH).
Proven experience delivering comprehensive cleanings and preventive services.
Proficiency in diagnostic and preventive procedures, including X-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral cancer screenings.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with the dental team.
