Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to become an integral part of our hygiene team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing and updating medical and dental histories, ensuring their comfort and safety.

- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and radiographs, to identify concerns and create tailored treatment plans.

- Educate and counsel patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and tobacco cessation, promoting healthy periodontal practices and overall well-being.

- Collaborate with the dental team to develop comprehensive treatment plans, communicate patient needs, and schedule follow-up appointments.

- Accurately document patient visits, ensuring confidentiality and effective communication within the dental team while upholding high standards of care.

- Mentor and train hygiene assistants, fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes team growth.

- Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies, maintaining necessary certifications and licensure.

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist licensure and certification.
