Key Responsibilities  
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and instruments following regulatory guidelines.  
- Obtain diagnostic records, including intra-oral scans and photos.  
- Set up trays for dental procedures.  
- Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist, including polishing with rotary instruments.  
- Accurately document patient records as directed by the treating dentist.  
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions.  
- Manage lab case documentation and ensure timely delivery.  
- Complete required educational courses promptly.  
- Support the dental team in delivering an exceptional patient experience.  

Qualifications  
We offer multiple pathways for Dental Hygienists in New York State. Please note that compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.  

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)  
- Associate Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program  
- Valid NYS Dental Hygiene License  

Dental Hygienist – Limited Permit
- Associate Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program  
- Dental Hygiene Limited Permit (on the pathway to full licensure in NYS)
