Your Role

As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Bridgeport Smiles, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by:

Performing comprehensive patient screenings, including oral health assessments, charting, and vital signs
Taking digital radiographs
Providing dental prophylaxis using Cavitron and Prophy Jet
Applying preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride
Taking impressions for study models
Educating patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and at-home care
Maintaining a clean, organized, and sterile operatory in accordance with infection control standards
Offering reassurance and emotional support to patients throughout their visits
Completing detailed periodontal charting and documentation of restorations, decay, and overall oral health
Demonstrating professionalism and positivity with patients and team members
Managing recall systems, equipment upkeep, and supply inventory
Utilizing dental software and computer systems efficiently

What We’re Looking For

Active Registered Dental Hygienist license
Friendly, outgoing, and patient-focused demeanor
Strong communication and organizational skills
Solid knowledge of dental terminology, hygiene procedures, and infection control
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
