Dental Assistant, PTO/401K

Our state-of-the-art dental practice is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off.

Position Type: Full-time  

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform coronal polishing and take x-rays.

- Familiarity with PPO insurance plans and coverage.

- Update and maintain patient dental records.

- Sterilize instruments and equipment.

- Take dental impressions.

- Assist the dentist during procedures.

- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients.

Additional Duties:

- Provide post-operative instructions.

- Manage inventory.

- Participate in general office cleaning.

- Maintain infection control protocols.

- Confirm patient appointments.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in dental assisting.

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of dental instruments.

- Exceptional customer service skills.

- Certifications: Certified Dental Assistant (preferred), coronal polishing certification (preferred), and x-ray certification (preferred).

Hours: 36 to 42 hours per week, with a requirement to work every other Saturday. We ensure a minimum of 40 hours weekly for our employees.

Location:

- In-person at our practice in Chicago, IL 60605. Relocation is required prior to starting.
