We are seeking a Dental Assistant (DA) dedicated to creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for each patient while efficiently assisting the Doctor in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
- Promote teamwork by assisting all staff as needed, including helping with front office duties, hygiene operatories, scanning, and insurance breakdowns.
- Ensure a positive and memorable experience for every patient.
- Prepare and clean operatories between patients, ensuring sterilization and safety standards are met.
- Welcome and seat patients, review and update medical history, note pre-medication needs, and address patient concerns.
- Collect signatures for consent forms, print prescriptions, and manage patient documentation.
- Take and record patient vitals, necessary radiographs, and intra-oral photos, and save them in the dental software.
- Assist with patient transitions to the Hygienist or Doctor, providing proper introductions and promoting the provider's expertise.
- Offer comfort items, set up nitrous oxide if needed, and assist the Doctor chairside.
- Help chart and create treatment plans in dental software, communicate with the Treatment Coordinator for financial discussions.
- Take impressions or scans, make temporary crowns/bridges, fit permanent restorations, and remove sutures.
- Provide detailed post-op and surgical instructions to patients.
- Manage lab cases, stock operatories, and maintain cleanliness of the clinic.
- Maintain back office equipment, schedule repairs, and ensure everything is powered on/off daily.
- Conduct wellness calls, reactivation calls, and unscheduled recall patient follow-ups.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current CPR certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 32–40 per week
