We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team in a dynamic hybrid role. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical hands-on experience with behind-the-scenes administrative responsibilities, supporting both patient care and the operational side of the practice.

Dental Assistant
Full-Time | In-Person | $20–$28/hour | 40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Dental Assisting: Monday–Tuesday
Administrative Support: Wednesday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

Dental Assisting (Mon–Tues):

Provide chairside assistance to the dentist for various procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Follow strict infection control and aseptic protocols
Perform four-handed dentistry and assist with restorative/preventive care
Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral scans (experience with 3D scanners like Dexis or iTero is a plus)
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a calm environment

Administrative Support (Wed–Fri):

Manage the owner/manager’s calendar and schedule appointments
Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and light bookkeeping
Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in-person with patients, vendors, and partners
Maintain organized administrative files and track outstanding accounts
Support day-to-day office operations and contribute to workflow efficiency
Assist with special projects as assigned
Create and schedule content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to support brand visibility

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant (required)
Familiarity with dental terminology, sterilization procedures, and chairside protocols
Experience with digital dental software (Oryx, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) a plus
Basic knowledge of billing, scheduling, and/or bookkeeping
Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Experience with content creation and managing social media accounts
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, team-oriented, and professional demeanor

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $28.00, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
