Dental Assistant

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to support our growing dental practice. The right candidate will work closely with the dentist to ensure high-quality patient care, maintain a clean and sterile environment, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our office. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient interaction, and dental technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth workflow and patient comfort
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take and process dental X-rays as instructed
Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Perform basic dental lab tasks (e.g., pouring and trimming models)
Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Solid understanding of dental terminology and clinical procedures
Knowledge of X-ray safety and imaging best practices
Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software
Experience with sterilization techniques and aseptic protocols
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to patient care and professional integrity

Position Details:

ob Types: Full-time or Part-time
xpected Hours: 20–40 per week
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
