We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring our dental clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a solid understanding of dental terminology, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist with various dental procedures while prioritizing patient care.

Working Hours:

This position has set hours and is non-negotiable. We need a Dental Assistant available on:  

- Monday: 8 AM - 4:30 PM  

- Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 7 PM  

- Thursday: 11:30 AM - 7 PM

Incentive:

A $200 cash bonus will be awarded upon completion of a 90-day probation period.

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.  

- Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready.  

- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.  

- Operate the ITERO scanner.  

- Capture photographs for orthodontic treatments (Invisalign).  

- Manage patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.  

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.  

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.  

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinic, including sterilization of instruments.  

- Provide compassionate care to young patients in pediatric dentistry.

Requirements:  

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role in a dental clinic.  

- Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, and medical records management.  

- Experience with OPEN DENTAL software is a plus but not mandatory.  

- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.  

- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.  

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.  

- Certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time  

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour  

Expected Hours: 23 – 25 hours per week
