Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to become a vital part of our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Duties:

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.

- Perform routine tasks such as taking dental X-rays, recording vital signs, and managing patient records using Dentrix or Epic software.

- Maintain infection control protocols by following aseptic techniques and ensuring the cleanliness of the treatment area.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.

- Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to young patients and addressing their specific needs.

- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering as needed.

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

- Knowledge of prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, anatomy, and infection control practices.

- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.

- Ability to safely and effectively perform X-ray procedures.

- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring techniques.

- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

- Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.80 per hour
