Dental Assistant

We are a modern, boutique dental practice in Koreatown, LA, looking for a fun and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. Initially, this position will be Mondays through Thursdays, with the potential for Friday and Saturday shifts in the future. We’re seeking someone who is eager to grow with us and is open to learning both front and back office tasks. As a startup, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help shape and build our practice.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare patient treatment rooms

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments

- Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures

- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques

- Take dental x-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

- Scan patients with Itero

- Assist with scheduling appointments and payment procedures

- Contribute to our social media marketing efforts

Qualifications:

- 2-3 years of dental assisting experience (preferred)

- Dental Assisting Certification (required)

- X-Ray Certification (required)

- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required)

Job Type: Full-time  

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
