We are a respected, small private dental clinic known for delivering exceptional care and prioritizing patient satisfaction. We’re currently seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to enhance our team.
Job Description:
As a Dental Assistant, you will be integral to our clinic's smooth operation, collaborating closely with dentists and dental hygienists to deliver outstanding care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various procedures such as cleanings, fillings, veneers, crowns, inlays, implants, tissue grafts, and extractions.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and process dental X-rays.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office tasks, including scheduling appointments and billing.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Ensure a clean and organized dental workspace.
- Assist with infection control procedures and adhere to OSHA and dental board regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent on-the-job training.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient comfort and care.
- Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus.
