Dental Assistant
Job Description
Pay: $18.10 - $20.00 per hour
Hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. No weekends.
Sign-on Bonus: $1,000
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our dental professionals in delivering top-notch oral healthcare, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures.
- Assist dentists during treatments by providing instruments and anticipating their needs.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Maintain and update patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and dental equipment.
- Manage the inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical coding.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
- Experience with 3D scanners is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
- X-Ray Certification (Texas) is required.

- Must be able to relocate to Houston, TX 77055 before starting work.
