Job Type: Full-time (4 days per week)

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.

- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and organized environment.

- Welcome and prepare patients for their treatments, addressing any concerns to ensure their comfort.

- Take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.

- Provide chairside assistance, anticipating the dentist’s needs and efficiently handling instruments.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans following practice protocols.

- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience and a positive work environment.

Requirements:

- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.

- X-ray certification.

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach to patient care.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while prioritizing patient care.

- Familiarity with dental software and technology is a plus.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

- Dental Assisting School completion.

Experience:

- 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
