Dental Assistant

We are a modern, boutique dental startup in Koreatown, Los Angeles, seeking a passionate Dental Assistant to join our vibrant team. Our office is known for its positive, fun, and caring culture, where both team members and patients experience a high level of satisfaction. As a part of our team, you will play a key role in our growth and success. Initially, this position will be from Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of expanding to include Fridays and Saturdays in the future.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare patient treatment rooms and ensure they are sterile and organized.

- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment.

- Select and set up necessary instruments, equipment, and materials.

- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.

- Take and process dental X-rays.

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

- Use the Itero scanner for patient imaging.

- Schedule appointments and assist with payment procedures.

- Contribute to social media marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

- 2-3 years of dental assisting experience preferred.

- Dental Assisting Certification (required).

- X-Ray Certification (required).

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 32 – 40 hours per week
