Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to become a crucial member of our dental clinic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our dentists and hygienists, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment, taking X-rays, and cleaning instruments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines

- Use Open Dental systems to manage patient information

- Perform aseptic techniques to uphold a clean and safe environment

- Support prosthodontic procedures and stay updated on relevant knowledge and skills

- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver a comprehensive and high-quality patient experience

- Engage in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist and hygienist for efficient and precise treatment

Skills:

- Experience in a dental clinic environment with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management

- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and maintaining a clean, safe environment

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development

Job Details:

- Type: Part-time

- Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

- Expected Hours: 28 – 35 per week

- Schedule: Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dental assisting (Required)

- X-Ray Certification (Required)

- Ability to commute to Houston, TX 77027 (Required)
