Oral Surgery Assistant Needed – Full-Time

Compensation: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour

Work Days: Monday to Friday

Experience Required: At least 1 year in Oral Surgery

Location: Desert Ridge, AZ

Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time, experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to join our oral and maxillofacial surgery practice. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting doctors during IV sedation and surgical procedures

- Cleaning and maintaining the surgery room

- Sterilizing instruments

- Taking X-rays and CT scans

Job Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery

- X-ray and CPR certifications are required; ACLS certification is a plus

- Experience with sedation for major surgeries

- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong team player skills

Schedule:

- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:30 PM

- Administrative duties on Wednesdays

Education and Certification Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Required licenses: X-ray, IV, CPR

- DAANCE certification is a plus

COVID-19 Considerations:

- Gowns and KN95 masks are provided to all employees

- Maximum of 2 employees per room

- Masks required for all employees

- Patients are screened with daily temperature checks and questionnaires

- No more than 2 patients are seen in the office at a time
