Dental Assistant
Job Description
We’re seeking an energetic and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our team! Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others are essential. While bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus, they are not required. Experience is preferred, but we provide comprehensive training for all aspects of the role. This position is available immediately.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Sterilize and clean instruments and operatories
- Set up and prepare treatment areas
- Take x-rays
- Perform lab procedures, such as taking impressions and pouring stone models
- Occasionally handle front office tasks, like patient calls
- Stock operator supplies
- Greet and seat patients
- Maintain dental records
Additional Helpful Qualities:
- Current California Dental Assistant Certification
- CPR Certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 28 – 36 hours per week
