Bilingual Dental Assistant (Spanish)
We are seeking a skilled and bilingual (Spanish) Dental Assistant to enhance our practice's efficiency and ensure a positive patient experience. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service, manage administrative and basic dental tasks, and support our dentist in delivering top-notch care.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients to the office
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
- Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain adherence to infection control regulations
- Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry
- Perform laboratory tasks as directed
- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked dental room
- Schedule patient appointments
- Keep accurate patient records and assist with payment processing
Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Proven experience as a dental assistant
- Proficient in dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to perform non-surgical tasks, such as coronal polishing, is a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and well-organized
- High school diploma; completion of dental assistant school preferred
- Additional certifications or training (e.g., EFDA) are advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
