We are a busy, established dental practice treating both children and adults. We are seeking an outgoing, positive, energetic, and hard-working Dental Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player who supports and assists providers with patient care, takes initiative, and is flexible and friendly with a "can do" attitude. Open communication and a strong commitment to patient satisfaction are essential.

Responsibilities:

- Understand and demonstrate proper sterilization, biohazard, and infection control procedures in compliance with protocol.

- Demonstrate complete knowledge of dental terminology.

- Perform all chairside procedures efficiently.

- Demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and proper tray setups.

- Properly take diagnostic digital radiographs.

- Efficiently direct patient flow through teamwork and communication.

- Perform all necessary lab procedures.

- Stock treatment areas/carts and manage dental-related facility inventory.

- Demonstrate knowledge of dental treatment equipment maintenance procedures.

- Maintain positive patient/staff rapport and contribute positively to the office environment.

- Perform basic computer functions.

- Utilize cost-effective techniques when using supplies and equipment.

- Assist the office in achieving defined goals.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

- X-ray certification and current CPR certification

- 1 year of dental assisting experience (Preferred)

- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (Required)

Additional Information:

- Job Type: Full-time

- Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

- Benefits: 401(k), employee discount, paid time off

- Schedule: 8-hour shift, occasional Saturdays

- Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay

- Work Location: One location, in person

- Clinical Setting: General Dentistry

- CDA/RDA License Required: Yes

Duties Include:

- Assisting chair-side

- Taking records, impressions, or x-rays

- Using computers to update electronic patient records

- Assisting with lab tasks as needed
