Dental Assistant

Four-doctor dental specialty office in Chicago (Lakeview) has an immediate opening for full-time and part-time dental assistants. If you share our vision of customer-centered care with a high-tech approach, this is the job for you! We're looking for someone who is a team player, has a friendly attitude, and is enthusiastic (someone who likes to smile). Excellent telephone and customer service skills are essential; proficiency with computers and MS Word is required.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and clean treatment rooms

- Take digital radiographs and/or scans

- Order dental supplies

- Assist the doctor during procedures

- Input data into our chairside electronic oral health record

- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and welcome new patients

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of working experience

Training:

- Radiology training will be provided

- We use digital radiographs and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT)

Hours of Operation:

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

- Wednesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

- Saturday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

- Assistants' shifts: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm or 9:30 am - 6:30 pm

- Saturday shift: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (if working)

- Some schedule flexibility is required as patient appointments may occasionally extend the workday

Compensation:

- $16.00 - $23.00 per hour

- Available shifts all days except Sundays
