Endodontic Dental Assistant
Type: Full-time or Part-time
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Endodontic Dental Assistant to enhance the efficiency and patient experience in our dental office. You will work Monday through Thursday, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting light administrative tasks, and handling basic dental duties. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and adept at both direct and indirect patient care, contributing to a smooth office operation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and make them feel comfortable in the office
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups and ensure their comfort
- Select, set up, and organize instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures
- Sterilize instruments following regulations
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked dental room
- Keep accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills:
- Proven experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and reliable
- High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
