Dental Assistant - 1 year minimum experience!

At Murray Hill Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, our mission is to deliver exceptional dental care to children and adolescents, including those with special healthcare needs, while ensuring a positive overall experience. We love working with kids and know how to make them feel comfortable in a dental setting. Our friendly, boutique-style office features six providers offering Pediatric Dentistry, General Dentistry, and Orthodontics. Conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Grand Central Station and the 6 train at Park Avenue and 33rd Street, we are currently seeking a full-time dental assistant with the following qualifications:

Key Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, sterilization, and hygiene

- Experience in administering dental X-rays, using advanced technology such as the Nomad and VaTech

- Proficiency in scheduling, treatment planning, and charting

- Excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure patient comfort during appointments

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with general office aptitude

- Must be able to use XCP dental X-ray film positioning devices

Position Details:

- Full-time hours: Monday to Thursday, with one Saturday per month; option to work Fridays

- Applicants must be a Registered Dental Assistant or have at least one year of on-the-job training experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract  

Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour
