Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to support our dentists in delivering outstanding care. The ideal candidate is organized, team-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
Record patient medical histories and vital signs
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Assist with scheduling and front desk responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Dental Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program
X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain based on state requirements)
CPR certification preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Open Dental software is a plus
Positive attitude and strong commitment to patient care

Weekend availability required

Compensation

Starting at $17.00 per hour
