We are a well-established private cosmetic dental office in Rockefeller Center seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team. This part-time position is available on Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.

About the Role

As our new hygienist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our commitment to high-quality cosmetic and general dentistry. This role requires technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care in a private practice setting
Perform intraoral photography and intraoral scanning as part of patient diagnostics
Conduct chair-side whitening treatments
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant operatory in line with infection control and PPE protocols
Collaborate closely with the general dentist, part-time periodontist, and existing hygiene team

Required Skills & Certifications

N2O2 (Nitrous Oxide) and local anesthesia certified
Proficiency with intraoral photography, intraoral scanning, and whitening procedures
Comfortable working with modern dental technology and computer systems
CPR certification required
Must use loupes

Qualifications

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a dental office setting

Our Practice

We are a small, boutique cosmetic dental office with one general dentist and a part-time periodontist. Our hygiene team currently includes two part-time hygienists. Our staff has been together for many years, and we’re excited to welcome a new team member who values stability, professionalism, and a team-oriented culture.
