Bilingual Dental Assistant

Kheir Clinic is seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This full-time position involves direct patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish or English and Korean, with proven experience assisting chairside, maintaining sterile exam areas, and supporting front office operations as needed.

You will play a key role in patient intake, dental procedures, and radiographic imaging, while also ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and patient confidentiality standards.

Location: Kheir Clinic – Wilshire Center/Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during dental exams and procedures
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions
Manage patient flow and support intake processes to ensure smooth visits
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA, CDC, and clinic protocols
Assist with front office duties such as reception, scheduling, and record-keeping
Support dental inventory management and supply ordering
Participate in training sessions, in-service meetings, and community outreach events
Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with coworkers and patients
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and clinic policies regarding confidentiality and safety
Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
Current First Aid/CPR certification
Dental Radiation Safety Certification
Minimum 6 months of experience in a dental setting
Proficiency with dental equipment, sterilization protocols, and clinical procedures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and patient care orientation
Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Korean (required)
Experience working in a community clinic or FQHC environment is a plus
