- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Strictly Peds Medical Office, Austin, TX

Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of an orthodontist, the Orthodontic Dental Assistant plays a critical role in both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Clinical Duties:
- Assist in patient assessments & treatments
- Take diagnostic radiographs & X-rays
- Obtain alginate impressions for diagnostic models and intraoral appliances
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments & equipment
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and well-organized
- Adhere to HIPAA & OSHA guidelines
Administrative Duties:
- Assist with patient registration & scheduling
- Handle data entry & filing
- Track lab cases & back-office inventory
- Take on-call shifts as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
Licensure & Certification:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Required
X-Ray Certification – Preferred
BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association OR American Red Cross) – Preferred
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma OR 1+ year of relevant job experience
1+ year of Orthodontic Dental Assisting experience – Required
